Following the hugely positive reception on Will Gompertz’s BBC Oxford Radio show, the Luna Geckos were invited by Will Banks to perform two short sets at his Halfway to 75 Festival this year at ISIS Farmhouse, Iffley. On Saturday 25 July, the Luna Geckos performed to a sell-out family audience and presented full performances of “Lil’ Miss Hoody” and their latest work “Spirit In The Pit”.

The reception was great with adults and children clearly enjoying becoming engrossed with the musical story-telling world that is unique to the Luna Geckos! This was all certainly helped immensely by a fantastic PA and wonderful engineering from the event organisers. Difficult to imagine things could have gone any smoother!! A full audio recording of the show may¬†yet appear…

The Geckos are set to return to the recording studio, following up their debut Album with a four-track EP in the near future, plans and initial recordings are already being made…
