There are just over 500 Stradivarius violins known to have survived since their maker died over 200 years ago. They are all seemingly accounted for.
Fender is arguably the most famous name associated with electric guitars and the electric bass guitar. The name is associated with revolution in musical instrument making. There is only 1 production prototype electric violin known to be made by Fender, dated 1958. It can be heard in the video linked to above, recorded in 2015, on the eve of the Fender Company’s 70th Anniversary.
